Chris was born and raised in Des Moines. He began his radio career in high school and spent his first four years out of high school as a part-time air talent and mascot. He then worked in commercial production. He left radio in 2001 only to return again in 2007 with the Des Moines Radio Group. Chris is now an assistant program director for 1350 KRNT and Praise 940. Chris is also a singer/songwriter who plays locally with the band Midwestern Remedy!
