Jim is originally from Wisconsin, but began his radio career in Duluth, MN where he spent 30 years on KDAL-AM. During this time, he worked as a commercial writer and producer, Program Director, Salesperson, and Sales Manager. In addition, he was the weekend weather anchor at KDLH-TV in Duluth, and the Lead Instructor in The Radio/TV Broadcasting Program at Lake Superior College. He went on to teach at the University of Wisconsin. “I knew I wanted to work in radio since I was 6 years old. Now, I’m lucky enough to be working with Gibby, Mary, Calvin and Youngsy on KRNT. I feel truly blessed.”
