    Concert featuring works by women composers

    Make your holidays even more special with an evening of holiday music by women composers.

    The concert will feature vocal music of many our finest women composers ranging from the Renaissance to the 21st Century – this concert will be a combined performance and lecture on an often bypassed study of classical music history – the influence and history of women composers and what they have brought, and continue to bring too classical music. The performers are all members of the Faith Lutheran Church Music Department and vocal students of Dr. David Johnson, Director of Music at Faith. A free-will offering will be collected.

    Cross-Country Ski Basics

    $10 includes skis, boots and poles
    Learn the basics of cross-country skiing and practice your skills on the trails. Proper clothing, equipment, and skiing techniques will also be discussed. Class will be canceled without snow. Pre-registration required; deadline is December 28. Minimum age 10. Fee: $10 (includes skis, boots, and poles.)
