Join us for the final 2013-2014 History Series at Salisbury House with author Michael Neiberg.  Enjoy a lecture about his most recent work, Dance of the Furies, and learn about his reexamination of the Europeans and their perspective regarding the outbreak of World War I.

Tea at the Castle

Enjoy a delightful afternoon at Salisbury House at our Tea at the Castle event.  The May tea features beloved guest, Jane Cox, who will perform a characterization of a historic female.  Jane Cox is a Theater Professor at Iowa State University.  She has been involved as an actress, designer and director in over 250 theater productions.  Her one woman shows have been performed in twenty states and in notable venues including the Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian.

Following the performance tea, finger sandwiches and pastries will be served. – Tickets are $25 for Standard Admission, $22.50 for Members and can be purchased by visiting www.salisburyhouse.org or calling 515-274-1777.

In the Words of Shakespeare

Repertory Theater of Iowa will perform some of the most notable scenes from Shakespeare staged throughout the Salisbury House.  All proceeds from this performance will benefit the 2014 production of Shakespeare on the Lawn at Salisbury House.  Doors will open at 6:45 pm for a complimentary wine reception.  The performance will begin at 7:30 pm.  Tickets are $25 Standard Admission, $22.50 for Members and $15 for Students.  To purchase tickets, please call 515-274-1777 or visit www.salisburyhouse.org.
