1350 KRNT presents The Ultimate Doo-Wop Show!

The Ultimate Doo-Wop Show is coming to Hoyt Sherman Place on Friday, May 10th at 8pm. Tickets are on sale now for $48, $58, and $68 through Ticketmaster outlets and online.

About the Show
The recent record-breaking PBS-TV music specials, “50 Years of Doo-Wop” were so well received that it created a new showcase and new audiences for veteran Doo-Wop artists, resulting in additional PBS-TV specials. Now these original artists, whose combined sales number over 200 million records, are back on the road performing live, treating concertgoers to the songs they danced to at sock hops, while allowing younger audiences to discover that Doo-Wop is feel-good music no matter what your age. This music is like a first love that no one ever forgets. Nothing is more memorable than a first love.

An impressive list of those original artists who will be part of The Ultimate Doo-Wop Show are: from the upcoming movie, Since I Don’t Have You Jimmy Beaumont & The Skyliners (Since I Don’t Have You, Pennies from Heaven, This I Swear, It Happened Today), Rhythm & Blues Pioneer Award Winners, The Spaniels featuring Willie C. Jackson (Goodnight Sweetheart, Baby It’s You, Bells Ring Out, So Deep Within, Peace of Mind), The Reflections (Just Like Romeo & Juliet), Rhythm & Blues Pioneer Award Winners, The Eldorados (Crazy Little Mama, Bim Bam Boom, I’ll be Forever Loving You, My Loving Baby), The Shades of Blue (Oh How Happy),Stormy Weather (Street Corner Serenade), Blue Suede Orchestra (Buzz, Buzz, Buzz).
